MUSICAL THEATRE AUDITION TECHNIQUE: Join Broadway performer and teaching artist Geoff Packard for an exploration of how to prepare and interpret audition material, what makes a good audition, and the casting process.  Volunteer students will have the opportunity to work on their audition songs with Geoff in this class.  We will also be joined by a special guest Broadway performer, who will share his audition material and techniques with the class.

FREESTYLE RAP: Join members of Freestyle Love Supreme, the improve group that Lin Manuel Miranda created and inspired the style and story telling of Hamilton, for an amazing ride. The Love of Freestyle workshop introduces students to the basic principles of freestyle rap, with a focus on self-expression and jumping in. Each student will receive a beatbox lesson and be encouraged to freestyle in the class. Freestyle love isn’t about doing it right... just DOING IT!

BROADWAY DANCE CLASS: HAMILTON with Jon Rua, Hamilton, Original Broadway Cast member

PATH TO BROADWAY: HAMILTON No one has better back stage stories than this group of Broadway’s brassiest veterans, all of whom currently appear in the Broadway production of Hamilton.  Join us for an insider look at the different paths they have taken to Broadway – from formative high school experiences to further training options, higher learning, and great audition stories.  They will also perform some of their favorite audition songs!
