Hello, everyone.
I’ve been looking into how small businesses handle incoming calls when the owner or staff can’t always answer the phone.
One option I keep seeing is an AI receptionist for small business. The idea seems useful for handling basic questions, collecting caller information, scheduling appointments, and making sure calls don’t go unanswered after business hours.
I’m curious about the real-world experience, though. How well do these systems handle natural conversations and unexpected questions? Are they reliable enough for customer-facing calls, or do they still need a human to step in frequently?
For anyone who has actually used one, what has your experience been like? I’d especially be interested in hearing about setup, call quality, customer reactions, and whether it genuinely saves staff time.
