UNLV Non-Degree Seeking Graduate Credits

Participants in the Broadway Teachers Workshop can earn three graduate credits through the UNLV Theatre department, via a simultaneous course with a written assignment and additional tuition fees payable to UNLV. 

(*Please note that to earn graduate credit through UNLV, Summer registration through UNLV is required.)

How to Register

Registration for the UNLV Summer Graduate Course that corresponds to the July Broadway Teachers Workshop Conference (both the NYC Conference and the Online Conference) is open from April 4, 2026 through July 11, 2026.

To Register:

1. You must first be registered and admitted to the Broadway Teachers Workshop. 
2. Register to be admitted to UNLV/The Graduate College as a non-degree-seeking graduate stude online directly through UNLV at http://summerterm.unlv.edu/admissions.php.  Follow the links to apply as a NON-DEGREE SEEKING GRADUATE STUDENT.  (*You will not need to do this if you are a current graduate student at UNLV.)
3. Please note: UNLV requires all students (whether in-person or remote) to provide proof of immunization per University policy: https://www.unlv.edu/registrar/immunizations
4. You may then register for course number THTR 793 – SECTION 1001 (Summer Session III) for three credits.
5. Once you have been admitted to the UNLV Graduate College and registered for the course, please contact the Instructor, Dr. Ann McDonough ann.mcdonough@unlv.edu to receive the syllabus and/or get further information about assignments.

Below is a list of fees for Graduate, Non Admitted, Non Residents of Nevada taking 3 Graduate credits for 2026.  The last day to register and pay fees without penalty is July 11, 2026.

• Graduate Registration Fee: $1,182.75
• GPSA Graduate Special Fee: $25.00
• Technology Fee: $54.00
• Non-Resident Tuition Fee: $300.00
• Student Newspaper Fee: $.60
• Student Association Fee: $21.00
• Graduate Professional and Career Development Fee: $35.00
• Student Health Fee: $56.75
• Student Facility Fee per credit: $43.50
• Total: $1,718.60*
