We always find ourselves at our most flexible when we are most thoroughly prepared. Preparation gives us patience, command of the room, and greater creativity. In this workshop, we’ll explore various methods for preparing your script, score, design, blocking, schedule and dramaturgy for the first day of rehearsals and beyond. Arrive armed with a clear vision for the show and how you would like to achieve it, exercises and ideas for coaxing the best out of your performers – and maintaining a sense of play in the room, while also establishing clear boundaries.
