Ian Weinberger

Ian Weinberger most recently served as the music director and conductor of the Broadway revival of Chess, starring Lea Michele. Weinberger attended Northwestern as a Drums Major, and after playing some gigs in college decided he wanted to perform in theater. He moved to NYC to pursue a career in musical theater and landed jobs with Kinky Boots, Book of Mormon, and then Hamilton, for which he was music director and conductor. As music director Weinberger teaches swings and understudies their roles, plays the keyboard during the show, and conducts all at once.
