Jenny started in the theatre in 10th grade and soon after had her first paid gig lighting a dance concert for the city parks and recreation department. She first entered the NY scene working in a sound rental shop and Off-Broadway, then soon after joined the Broadway Tours of Damn Yankees with Jerry Lewis, Smokey Joe’s Cafe, Rent and Swing! Jenny has mixed a few straight plays on Broadway and subbed as the A2 on many Broadway Shows. Her career took a turn when she was asked to do the mic rigging for the Tony Awards. There she works as a liaison between the TV and Broadway worlds and just did her 15th Tonys awards! Other credits includeThe Metropolitan Opera LiveHD Series, America’s Got Talent, NBC’s Live! musical productions: The Sound of Music, Peter Pan, The Wiz, the Emmy award winning Jesus Christ Superstar, and most recently, Annie. Where to next? Without the opportunities for involvement in theatre in high school none of this would have been possible. Thanks to the late Mr. Zogas at Fraser High School and Larry Carrico former TD at the Macomb Center for the Performing Arts. Jenny is a member of IATSE Local One.
